I became acquainted with the desert during a retreat. A fortnight together with 6 people - 8 days in silence- theres is no place in the world better suited to that. Immediately I felt at home in the desert, everything felt so familiar as if I had already been there for a long time.
I love this simple way of life, everything is reduced to the essentials - the beautiful landscape, this incredible silence, the fire for cooking, the star-covered sky. |

Now that I am living my daily life here and go to work with the camels, it is still a precious gift for me to be here.
I would like to give other people the opportunity to experience life in the desert, to share my pleasure, to create a room in which they can feel safe though being in strange and, for them, unusual environment. |
